From someone who was actually at the show:
Vince came out and opened with Shout At The Devil which he has slaughtered from day one so it was no surprise that he was trashing this classic song once again. It wasn't until the next song when I realized something was really, really wrong with him. He then started to talk after the song and it was then very obvious he was beyond trashed. He said this wasn't a regular concert and that they were only going to take requests. During the show Vince was sloppy, and stumbling all over the stage. When the show started it was packed. People started walking out five or six songs into the set, and by the encore you could walk within about ten people of the front of the stage. People were leaving in droves. Vince did the twenty minute Teaser that the others mentioned. It was embarrassing. When Vince did this song on the summer tour it was a great jamming song, and a highlight of the show. Last night it was the low point. Vince knocked over his mic stand at one point, took the mic and threw it into the crowd and walked off the stage for five minutes. The crowd was so stunned they didn't even fuck around with the mic, they just passed it up to the security and it went back on the stage. Vince came back out and demanded that the song be redone, and the crowd started to boo. He asked if there were any Teasers in the crowd and to raise our hands in the air. People were throwing empty beer cups at him by this point. Vince then took his guitar and leaned it into the crowd as if he was going to throw it out there, then took it to the drum riser and hit the cymbals with it and set it down. He cursed at his band for a while. He told Jason Hook to take the request for the next song and walked off the stage again. During most of the songs he would leave the stage and people had to go round him up to get him back onto the stage. This happened all night long. He would leave from one side and come back on from the other side, dragging one of the bimbos with him laughing and skipping across the stage with no concern for the show at all. He couldn't have cared less what was going on he was just fucking with the girls, or yelling at them when they wouldn't come out onto the stage with him and walking off of the stage as often as possilbe. The falling incident went like this. It was the encore (Kickstart My Heart) and he went to jump off the stage and busted his ass on the floor. He was helped up and was laughing. Then he stood and fucked with the fans in the front for a while not bothering to sing at all (which was a relief) and then was lifted back onto the stage. I moved to the side of the stage at this point and I have some pictures from this part if you want them I'll send them in. I saw Vince a few days ago and he looked great, last night he looked all bloated and shitty. He was literally falling apart right in front of the crowd. His voice was shot from the first note of Shout. He never sounded good at any point, and had trouble getting through just about every song. It was a disgrace. He has turned himself into a punchline, and a parody of his former self and it's a shame. I'm glad I didn't have to pay for that shit last night, and I still feel like I was ripped off. Vince is a joke, and it's a true shame. I was looking forward to a farewell tour from the Crue next summer, and now I don't give a shit if I ever see Vince stumble onto a stage ever again, and that sucks.
Vince deserves an FU award for doing this shit to his fans, himself, and the memory of his daughter who he was supposedly representing last night.
